GENERATE LOW RESOLUTION MEDIA FILES

When several files are selected from the list and you select the Generate Low

Resolution Media File option, several cases can occur.

1. Some hi-res files are not present on the Media server (they could be offline

or ARCHIDEL)

A popup window is displayed and lists those missing files. You are asked

whether you want to continue.

• Press YES to generate only lo-res files corresponding to existing hi-res

files

• Press NO to cancel the operation.

2. The hi-res files are online and at least one lo-res file already exists on the

Media server or is ‘ARCHIDEL’.

A popup window is displayed and mentions that existing file. You are asked

whether you want to overwrite this lo-res file.

• Press YES to overwrite the existing lo-res file.

If the Do this for all selected media option is selected, the check will

not be applied on the other files and all the existing lo-res files will be

generated.

• Press NO to avoid the replacement of existing lo-res files.

If the Do this for all selected media option is selected, the check will

not be applied on the other files and only the offline lo-res files will be

generated.

3. The hi-res files are online and at least one lo-res file is in use.

A popup window is displayed and mentions the file in use. You are asked

whether you want to continue.

• Press YES to generate only lo-res files not in use.

• Press NO to cancel the operation.
