2.1. Overview of the IPLogger Window

Area Description
The table below describes the various parts of the IPLogger window:
Area Description
1. Toolbar The Toolbar provides functions for performing operations on
logsheets and buttons mainly for viewing options.
See section "IPLogger Toolbar" on page 3.
2. Logging
areas
The Logging areas are used to log events.
See sections "Logging Areas" on page 6 and "Adding Logs to
Media" on page 23.
3. Log
Metadata
area
This area allows you to define values for the user fields from the log
metadata profile.
This area is only displayed if a profile for log metadata has been
associated to the selected logsheet profile.
See sections "Create a New Log Window" on page 27 and "Log
Metadata Profile" on page 35.
