DISPLAY MODE
The user can select the time code information to be displayed. The following
display modes are available. IPEdit supports the various types of time codes.
For more information on the time code display mode, refer to the Control Panel
chapter.
3.4.5 DURATION FIELD
The duration field will have a different meaning and display colour according to
the activity being performed on the channel.
WHEN A CLIP IS LOADED
The following table shows the possible colours and values of the duration field
when a clip is loaded.
The duration field value and colour depends on:
• whether the clip is playing or paused
• the media position indicator
• the defined mark IN and mark OUT points:
o When no new mark IN and mark OUT have been defined after the clip has
been loaded, the values displayed in the Duration field are based on the
original Mark In and mark OUT points of the clip.
o When a new mark IN and/or mark OUT have been defined after the clip has
been loaded, the values displayed in the Duration field will be based on this
new mark IN and/or mark OUT point(s).
