LSMID
This is the LSM ID, i.e. the location where a clip is stored on the XNet network. It
is not editable as it is the unique identifier of the clip on the EVS video server. To
modify the LSMID of a clip, the user must use the MOVE command.
TAPEID
This field can be used to identify the tape on which the clip originated.
NAME
The name field is used to add or modify the clip name. You can assign a name
that contains maximum 24 alphanumeric characters. Only 12 characters of this
name will be displayed on the EVS video server interface.
VARID
VarID is a 32-character ID with variable length and format. It is automatically
assigned to new clip. It is mainly used to ensure redundancy on the system. It can
be unique for a clip on the EVS video server level or on the XNet network level,
depending on EVS server settings.
Warning
You should not edit the VarID unless this is required in your workflow.
UMID
UmID is a fixed length 8-characterID. The EVS video server automatically
assigns a UmID
each new clip. It is used for the unique identification of a
clip on an XNet network.
Warning
You should not edit the VarID unless this is required in your workflow.
TIME INFORMATION FIELDS
The Time Information fields can be used to change IN, OUT or Duration (with
automatic readjustment of the other relative values). Type the new value (which
needs to be within the guardbands) in the relevant field.
