Name

Description User-defined name for play or record channel. This name will

be used for the OSD, and in the IPDirector application suite.

The name can contain maximum 24 characters.

Main ctrl (Main Controller)

Description Name of the main device/controller allowed to control the given

play or record channel.

Values For a controller to be available in the list of values, it must first

be assigned to an RS422 port in the port settings.

In addition, rules specific to each controller apply to the

assignment of the controller (used alone or in combinations

with other controllers) to play or/and record channels. See

section "Rules for Controller Assignment" on page 86 for more

information.

An error message will be displayed to warn you in case of a

wrong protocol selection or protocol combination, and the

fields that contain errors will be highlighted in red.
